The pictures are of the same 3 people, taken some 18 1/2 years apart. My daughter, Laura, was not yet born when the first picture was taken, and she was the photographer for the second picture. When I show the earlier picture, I usually say that it is my son, husband and my son's "birth mom" -- oh, yes, that would be ME! I was probably close to 300 pounds when that picture was taken. Now I am around 115 and a blonde, so I don't know who changed the most, my son or myself!

There are 3 angels in the air and I am the one on the left. It was SO much fun being a flying angel!      I know if I hadn't lost that weight, at this point I would have really had a hard time even walking across a stage. God's grace enabled me to take it off and become a very healthy and active 55 year old woman. I may well be the oldest flying angel our church ever had! Because the Lord restored my health to me, it was my joy to fly for Him and to play the part of one of the "Herald Angels" singing on that long ago night!
